Download questions.
Is there a signed, notarized release?
Not yet. Developer ID signing and notarization are being wired into CI. Until the first signed release, downloads point to GitHub Releases and preview builds — unsigned builds will be blocked by Gatekeeper.
What are the system requirements?
macOS Big Sur (11) or later, Apple Silicon or Intel. Windows builds are produced by CI; real-hardware smoke testing is pending before we recommend them. The CLI is included in builds.
Is Homebrew supported?
A Homebrew cask (maclean) is maintained in the repository and its version/SHA-256 are backfilled from each GitHub Release. It becomes installable once the first release is published.
How do I verify a downloaded build?
Each release links its SHA-256 checksum. The Homebrew cask pins both version and SHA-256. Until macOS signing is in CI, treat downloads as preview builds.
